Sameer Deshpande hails from Jalgaon of Maharashtra State in India. He holds educational qualification in Mechanical Engineering and also in Psychology. He worked with India's one of the leading Automobile Manufacturers for 10 years in HR and Total Productive Maintenance. His experience as an actor begins with Marathi theater. While working extensively on amateur stage for 20 years, alongside acting, he directed number of full-length and one-act plays and enjoyed success in acting, direction as well as other theater crafts viz. set and light designing, and background score. He could contribute to production of more than 30 plays. He started pursuing his professional career as an actor in 2004. From then onward, he has played lead / significant characters in numerous Plays, TV Shows, Movies, Commercials, Corporate Films and Web series. He was nominated for the Best Supporting Actor on Marathi Television in 2014.
