Sarah Fisher
Canadian actress, Sarah Fisher was born on January 19, 1993 in Ottawa, Canada but calls Toronto home. Sarah is best known for her three seasons playing 'Becky Baker' on the award winning Canadian Drama Degrassi.
Sarah was the lead actress in the feature film Kiss & Cry (2016, available Netflix worldwide) where she won "Best Actress Feature" at the Flagler Film Festival in Florida. This was her first project as an associate producer, the movie has been screened at film festivals around the world and has won many awards including the 2018 Kids Screen Award for "Best One-Off, Special or TV Movie Tweens/Teens".
Sarah also played a lead role in the feature film #Roxy alongside Danny Trejo (Breaking Bad), BooBoo Stewart (Twilight) and Jake Short (Dexter).
Some of her previous roles include a recurring character on CBC's Heartland, Stepchild (feature film) alongside Lauren Holly (Dumb and Dumber), Skin (feature film), Flawless (feature film), Precious Things (feature film) and Stickman (feature film).
Sarah has trained at Armstrong Acting Studio in Toronto and Second City, she also trained at the Ivana Chubbuck Studio in LA. Sarah is a trained vocalist and songwriter. She has trained with coaches, Elaine Overholt (Chicago (Catherine Zeta-Jones) and Hairspray (Zac Efron)) as well as Kim Briggs. Sarah has an original song featured on the hit TV series Degrassi as well as another original song in the NBC movie Full Out.
