Michael was born and raised in Toronto, Ontario's Little Italy. He is the son of Italian immigrant parents who came to Canada seeking a better life from the trauma of post war Italy and after more than forty years can still call Toronto's crossroads of Dufferin and St. Clair home. He is an exceptional talent whose passion, heart and convictions have been repeatedly tested by extraordinary circumstances.
