Steffen Dziczek
Steffen Dziczek (pronounced d-check) is known for his work on La La Land (2016), Why Him? (2016), and Alex Cross (2012). The only son of Judith (Green) and Thomas Dziczek, Steffen attended Henry Ford Community College and Eastern Michigan University where he studied theater and literature. In [2006], Steffen auditioned for and became an understudy cast member of Jeff Daniels' Purple Rose Theater in Chelsea, Michigan where he was in the stage play The Poetry of Pizza. Steffen became an early figure in the rising Detroit acting community as a stand-in and assistant director. As an actor, he took a lead role as Carter Wells in the independent thriller Pursuit of a Legend (2010), and followed that up with Alleged (2010), The Giant Mechanical Man (2012), and Alex Cross (2012). In late 2012, he moved from Detroit to Los Angeles where he took roles in Baby Mentalist (2013), Why Him? (2016), La La Land (2016) and The Gray Man (2022).
