Mike Butters
Mike Butters is a Canadian-born film, television and stage actor, voice-over artist, comedian, improvisational comic, impressionist, musician and American Corporeal mime, who immigrated to the United States in 1989. He has appeared in over 70 films, 40 television shows and over 100 commercials. He is most-widely known for his portrayal of Paul Leahy in the SAW Horror franchise. He has also self-produced, directed, written and starred in several web-series and independent films.
Mike's stage comedy experience is deep as he was a main cast member for the LA Connection and the Flipside sketch group for almost a decade. He co-founded the improvisational comedy and sketch group, the Pasty White Roundeyes, who, have performed shows world-wide.
Prior to entering the entertainment industry, Mike played professional ice and roller hockey and took a sabbatical from acting from 2004-2011, returning to hockey to work for the Tampa Bay Lightning as a professional scout. Mike returned to acting full-time in 2012 and has steadily built a deep resume in that time.
His voice over work continues to gain much attention as he is retained by some of the largest companies in the US.
Mike resides in Seattle, WA with his wife, Katie and 2 daughters.
